One of the places I am constantly amazed by- Joshua Tree. A rocky desert two hours east of San Diego, which seems like a different planet. Where days are magical, and night even more as the sky is covered in stars. There is many stylish and unique places to have a wedding in Joshua Tree, here are some of my favorites.
EL RANCHO
Found this place randomly while on instagram. It’s a Airbnb which can be rented out for events and weddings. Build in 1957, this desert residence is perfect for a intimate style wedding. Adding personal touches such as flowers, and lights, it can be turned into a magical wedding dream. The villa is modern and featured modern touches and details.
SACRED SANDS
Located just outside the engrave of Joshua Tree National Park, Sacred Sands will make you feel as if you entered a wild west style hacienda. The venue is located where one can see magnificent mountain and desert valley views, perfect backdrop for a ceremony. You can dance the night away under the stars, because the curfew is 2am!
PAPPY AND HARRIET’S
For those who crave good barbecue and great music, head to Pioneertown fun venue- Pappy and Harriet’s. It was constructed in the 1940’s and was used as a sleeping quarter for movie cast filmed back in the day. The venue has a western style, which is perfect for a laid back wedding and for dancing the night away.
THE RUIN VENUE
Down a dusty road, on the way to Pioneertown, off the beaten path is The Ruin Venue. It looks like a small, abandoned stone house; but add some pretty details and lighting, it will look magical! Behind the stone house is an area for a reception- metal arches with bistro lights already set up.
Thinking of tying the knot in Joshua Tree, see more wedding in the area here. If you’re looking for a photographer, lets chat!
