Maui— the beautiful island of Hawaii, it is a more popular island, as opposed to Kauai, which is more jungle. It also features lush foliage, however it does have more hotels and wedding venues, making it easy to plan, and comfortable for those traveling in.
The best beaches in my opinion, are on the north shore, near Paia + West side towns of Wailea + Kihei. There are lots of nice resorts in the area, and the beaches are beautiful.
Punakea Palms— A stunning coconut farm that can be a wedding venue. The green, jungle foliage is stunning and provides a lovely backdrop for a wedding. A ceremony backdrop overlooks the ocean and the property is surrounded by hills.
Olowalu Plantation— This location captures Hawaii’s natural beauty on its own. Has a beautiful palm tree walkway, which is perfect for photos. With mountain and ocean views, it has a lovely spot for a ceremony overlooking the beach and surrounded by palm trees, simply dreamy!
Kukahiko Estate— This property is so stunning! It is located south of Wailea + Kihei (where the best hotels are located). The name of the property actually translates to ‘gathering of the clan’, which seems very fitting for an intimate or small wedding. Personally, I love how this estate is surrounded by green foliage, while also having a beautiful ocean view, which is perfect for a ceremony. It’s intimate and private.
Paia Inn— Located on the north shore of Maui, this hotel is super personal for an intimate ceremony. It has beach access, and a very personal vibe to it which makes it special. Ideal for smaller elopements or weddings.
Surf Club— A stunning beach beachside venue, located on the north shore. I have several beaches that can be used as backdrops for ceremonies, etc.
Four Seasons Maui— You already know this hotel will be stunning. With modern amenities, it is lovely with a tropical touch. The hotel offers several locations for weddings, and can be customized to your preference.
