my philosophy
elopements and intimate settings?
Elopements are my favorite thing to capture— why?! So many reasons, main one the day is actually about you two, a special location and envisioned by what you had in mind to tie your love. It’s not about what the parents wanted, or what you think you should do. At big weddings, the couple gets lost in all the details and guests, forgetting why we are actually there.
Some of my favorite experiences have been small and intimate, such as a Kauai, Hawaii elopement, where the couple spend a week hanging out with their close ones, opting for a sunset ceremony. Or celebrating on top of a cliff in Malibu, while hiking down a cliff.
These are the moments that make an elopement. Finding a location and making a unique memory for yourselves. New traditions, new ways.
I feel so strongly about elopements/ small weddings; because the day is about you two, and should be celebrated that way! too many times i see this as a couples original vision, but then gets changed based on other opinion. my best advise- do what you want.

FAQ'S
Do you travel?
Where are you located?
Yes, some of my favorite locations have been traveled to. I love photographing new areas, and exploring. If you are open to getting a bit messy, and hiking, let’s do it!
Located in sunny San Diego, and travel throughout Southern California and beyond.
We’re awkward at taking photos?
When do we receive our photos?
Everyone says that! Personally I am awkward in front of a camera as well. My approach is to make you feel comfortable, more as if you two are in the moment, and I'm there to capture you. I do have prompts and tips to help without being too into posing.
Elopement and wedding, 5-7 weeks after.
Portrait session 1-2 weeks.
WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH?
DO YOU POSE?
My approach is to capture the real you in a natural setting. My goal is to capture the real you, rather overly posed photos that aren't necessarily the real you. I like to get to know my couples, their history, how they met, etc. Each couple is different and each session is different. Couples end up having a good time during our session, with tons of laughs!
Throughout the session I do give some posing and guidance. This approach to receive a natural reaction from you. The in-between is what really gets those natural moments.
