Krysten reached out a few months ago, wanting to capture their elopement, when asked why they decided to elope, here is what Krysten said- ‘We decided to elope because we have been to weddings that seem like a big show, and the couples are too bogged down by formalities to have fun. We really just want the day to be about us and our close family. We’re also really excited to be married and eloping is quicker haha.’
We started meeting at San Diego County Clerk, for a small ceremony with friends and family. Afterwards, we headed towards Balboa Park, and walked around for photos. We especially like the Desert Garden.
Love this, especially how they made it about what they wanted to do, and what was important for them. So many couples want to elope, but then end up having a big wedding, that they necessarily don’t want to have, but feel like its the way to go. It’s your day, and you should do what you want, whether its something simple or destination.
