Been lucky to have traveled throughout Italy a few times, and the landscape is just gorgeous and features a few wedding venues that would be ideal for a small wedding! Perfect for a destination wedding, a small intimate affair is ideal for Sicily. The landscape is green, with gorgeous beaches.
Ideal time to plan your destination wedding in Italy would be shoulder season, so you avoid the summer crowds and heat. Either May/ June or September/ early Oct would be perfect. Start your wedding celebration off with a welcome dinner followed by a wedding the next day, a post wedding brunch or relaxing by the pool/ beach is also fun, reliving the day before.
What some people don’t realize is that destination weddings tend to be a lot cheaper than actual weddings in the states. This makes it a lucrative option, especially for those wanting more than just a day of celebration and a vacation included!
